THE CLASSIC KARAKORAM JOURNEY
TO THE THRONE ROOM OF THE MOUNTAIN GODS
The K2 Base Camp trek follows the Braldu Valley and Baltoro Glacier into the heart of the Karakoram. Concordia reveals an extraordinary amphitheatre of 8,000-metre peaks before the route continues toward Broad Peak and K2 Base Camp.
This is a remote camping expedition rather than a casual hiking holiday. Weather, glacier conditions and road access can change the route, so every departure is planned around acclimatisation, safety and realistic contingency time.
