Haramosh Valley rises above the Indus corridor near Sassi, opening into forest trails, summer settlements and the blue-green water of Kutwal Lake. The route feels wonderfully removed despite its proximity to the main Gilgit–Skardu road.
Expect rugged jeep access, sustained walking on uneven mountain trails and memorable views toward Haramosh Peak, Laila Peak and the surrounding Rakaposhi–Haramosh range.

DAY 01
Arrival, equipment check and trip briefing in Islamabad.

Travel north toward Chilas or Gilgit and continue to Sassi.

Local 4×4 transfer into Haramosh Valley and begin trekking.

Explore Kutwal Lake, meadows and viewpoints beneath the massif.
DAY 07
Descend through the valley and reconnect with road transport.
DAYS 08–09
Return to Islamabad by the best available flight or road plan.
